The Guppy sponge is great for cleaning your aquarium in no time at all. The thick foam rubber sponge in the shape of a fish fits perfectly in the hand for fast and effortless work. The special and innovative shape of the Guppy Sponge allows you to clean even hard-to-reach corners and angles in the aquarium without having to clean the entire aquarium. Thanks to the practical “Guppy snout”, you can also clean the spaces between the overflow shafts in no time at all – and even your large-leaved aquatic plants too (but please be gentle!). You can also use the Guppy sponge to clean the outside of your aquarium panes – then just dry and polish them with the Soft & Dry microfibre cloth or the “HQ” Chamois Leather Pad.

Good to know:

All our cleaning pads are non-scratch and gentle on glass. Still, you should always make sure that there is no gravel or sand between the cleaning pad and the aquarium glass to avoid unsightly and annoying scratches in the glass and achieve a sparkling-clean finish. Before using our Ocean or Superclean Pad in or on your aquarium for the first time, wash it lightly with tap water – then it’s all systems go! Remember, you don’t have to dispose of your cleaning pads after only one cleaning job – you can use them often! Just wash and wring out the dirty pads thoroughly under tap water, then allow them to dry.

For best results on the outside surfaces of your glass panes, slightly moisten the pad before use.
