The Clean & Dry cleaning sponge is a real multi–tool: Clean the dirty surfaces on the aquarium with the white, scratch-free nonwoven, then polish and dry them with the chamois leather. It’s ideal for quick and uncomplicated use in the aquarium, but it’s also great for external cleaning. The sponge has the nonwoven material for coarse dirt, a water reservoir and a chamois leather drying and polishing pad.
The white nonwoven will get rid of algae and other impurities on the inside panes of the aquarium just as quickly as you can remove impurities on the aquarium’s external surfaces, covers and cabinet – and the chamois leather pad is then waiting to dry and polish the outside surfaces of your panes (and even your aquarium furniture) to a non-streak shine.
All our cleaning pads are non-scratch and gentle on glass. Still, you should always make sure that there is no gravel or sand between the cleaning pad and the aquarium glass to avoid unsightly and annoying scratches in the glass and achieve a sparkling-clean finish. Before you use the Clean & Dry sponge in or on your aquarium for the first time, just wash it lightly with tap water – then it’s all systems go for squeaky-clean results! Remember you don’t have to dispose of your Clean & Dry after only one cleaning job – you can use it often! Just wash and wring out the dirty sponge thoroughly under tap water a few times, then allow it to dry.
