About us - the Jöst Aquaristic Company

From aquarists for aquarists. We ourselves have been aquarists for years now – and we’re still fascinated by anything that has to do with the world of aquaristics! Two impressive aquariums have decorated the entrance area of our company since 2014: A 5,000-litre Amazon basin and a 15,000-litre Malawi cichlid basin. We develop high-quality cleaning products for aquariums together with the well-known aquascaper Oliver Knott – and he has been assisting us with our aquaristic hobby since the outset. “Jöst Abrasives” has been producing cleaning products for the flooring industry for some time now. With our knowledge of cleaning and Oliver Knott’s many years of experience in aquascaping, we have succeeded in creating high-quality and innovative products for cleaning freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

High quality, innovative appearance, sustainability and attention to detail were the decisive points in the planning and design of our aquaristic products. We wanted to develop tools that would make the life of an aquarium lover much easier – and help every enthusiast to have even more fun with his aquarium. Our aquarium products that are designed for practical use, such as the cleaning glove and various holders in different shapes, will always offer the optimal solution for any task in, on and around your aquarium. Removing coarse dirt, lime crusts, algae deposits – no cleaning wish will remain unfulfilled if Jöst products are involved!

Our name stands proudly for sustainability and environmental protection – and we produce adhering to the highest environmental standards at our site in Wald-Michelbach in the beautiful Odenwald (Forest of Odin). All our products can be used often after you’ve cleaned your aquarium – and there’s no need for cleaning agents or chemicals.

We produce exclusively at our location in Wald-Michelbach in the beautiful Forest of Odin, making sure we safeguard jobs in the region. Our new logistics and dispatch centre, which will probably be completed in 2020, was also built according to the highest environmental standards. On an area of more than xxxx square metres, we also have additional storage space and shipping options, and that means we can supply you even faster. The ultra-high quality and sophisticated designs of our products convince every user.
